Battery dies after a week
I have the Sotac Sro, the battery dies after a week, I will put in a new battery and test it after about three days the red that starts to get dim and after about a week completely dies, I do turn it off every time I use it so it did not stay on for the entire week, I tried to do it hard, turn down by pressing both buttons on each side, but it does not shut down the only way to turn it off is the hit the negative button to lower the brightness until it turns off, even with it being off this way that I turn it off. It still drains the battery and kills it after a week. After replacing about five batteries I just stopped putting a new batteries. I even change the type of batteries I was using, I switched from Duracell to energizer and still the same thing happens. Anyone else is having the same problem or find a fix for this please let me know.
Bad product quality
Really hard to zero with high mount, dot is blurry when moving (not centered), plastic battery key wear so easily.
Dot is blurry when moving, zeroing is bad
Sotac SRO red dot blurry when its not centered, zeroing with high mount also very bad, not enough elevation. Overall its too expensive for this thing
Red dot blurry when moving
Sotac SRO finishing is good. But in terms of red dot its bad. The dot is blurry when moving, and only seem clear when centered. I think the price is too high for the quality.
Grows on You With Use
It may not wow immediately, but after repeated outings, it becomes something you trust without thinking about.
Clean Finish and Strong Build
The construction feels tough, the coating looks clean, and the buttons respond nicely. Doesn’t feel cheap at all.
Great Brightness Settings
Dot is visible in bright sun and adjusts smoothly. Night use is just as good.
Easy to Mount and Zero
Mounted on my slide easily affordable and functional. Zeroed quickly and holds well after a few hundred rounds.
Wide and unobstructed view
I like the view and large window, very easy to acquire target.
